My Maryland cousin and I have  been searching our family tree now for several years and have put together some interesting facts.   My  Williams-Lucas family goes back to the 1600s in Maryland(Lucas) and to 1750s Manningtree Essex England.  Our ??????great grandfather fought on his light horse with Gen Washington and a later one in Confederate War.  

I will use this to help with research for other family trees.

I will also begin a search for Trent Ranson family tree.  Will welcome any information! Trent's father was Balavia Ranson from Andersonville in Buckingham County.  His brother was Howard Ranson. Other Buckingham relatives;  Radford, Samuel, Kenneth, William Ranson.

My husband's mother was Mina Virginia Ranson and her father was Mr Samuel Trent Ranson -mother was Mina Johnson Ranson, Gertie Johnson Clements. Brother- Willian Howard Ranson(Billy) of Bremo Bluff.

Mina's father and mother:  Reverdy Johnson and Effie Kent Johnson were born in Goochland County and have connection with the Georges Tavern family.  Let here from you guys!

Good news!  Patti Johnson and Judy Metz are long lost family that found this website and contacted us.  They are Johnson relatives.  So happy to have you two visit us .  We had a great time!
